How is the RootThru Tree Wrap made?

RootThru Tree Wrap is a composite fabric made from two sustainable, plant-based materials. We've combined the benefits of each material through our proprietary, non-chemical bonding process to address the pitfalls of traditional paper and polypropylene plastic tree wraps.

Brown side

This side is made from sustainably-sourced crepe paper. It provides insulation from extreme temperatures and drying winds.

Apply with this side facing the tree trunk.

White side

This side is made from polylactic acid (PLA), which is a nonsynthetic, renewable plant-based product. PLA is durable, flexible, naturally reflective, and UV resistant, which provides long-lasting tree protection without girdling the trunk.

Apply with this side facing away from the tree trunk.

When should I use RootThru Tree Wrap?
